"... tried mediacom cable, the quality of all products was horrible."

"Absolutely unprecedented customer support even on issues beyond their responsibility! Fast Access!"

- H.F., Spring Grove, IL (Business)

Doing a little comparison? We're happy to help!

From 2005 to 2006, WishCom celebrated over 200% growth. In 2007, it happened again. While it was unexpected, it wasn't an accident. We truly enjoy our dedication to our service area. The satisfaction of leaving a client happy after a stress-free experience continues to drive our motivation to connect people -- with the best broadband service Northern McHenry County has to offer.

FACT: Through 2005, 2006, and 2007, several competitors - even the Cable Company attempted to sneak in, mostly by clever trickery and contracts full of jibberish that nobody understands. That sure didn't knock us of track. As a matter of fact, due to the competition and severe dissatisfaction from these competitors - our sales activity grew to the point where double-bookings and 2 month waiting lists were common for the majority of 2006. This was all done via word-of-mouth!

There's a reason why cable companies have such a bad reputation, actual comments such as the ones below speak for themselves:

on MediaCom: "... maybe they just insist on hiring the most condescending and rude customer service operators they can find."

also, on Mediacom: "... My beef with Mediacom is with their internet service (lack thereof) in my area. I have yet to receive the speeds I have been paying for."

and, again: "Yea, Mediacom is the worst. You should try working there being told to lie to customers about almost everything from ETA's for issue resolution to pricing. If you like having a dialtone, steer clear of Mediacom Phone." "... If I had another job lined up I would quit in a heartbeat because I hate the way they do business and I'm not comfortable treating people poorly."

Watch out for other "bargain basement" Internet providers as well. How can you tell the quality of a provider?

  • #1 - By their clients. Ask a WishCom customer how service has been.
  • #2 - The equipment. If a company can't afford the highest quality equipment for it's network, and most of all, the customers - they're not worth doing business with.
  • #3 - The ISP's attitude. Do they like you? WishCom likes you.
  • #4 - The bandwidth. We bought enough to go around :)

Bottom line? WishCom will always continue to grow with Northern McHenry County.

We enjoy the work we do, and continue to create relationships, one client at a time. Contact us today - we'll be glad to talk!
